VOTER PROTECTION

You Have the Right
to Vote. Period.

No matter who you are or where you're from, your vote is protected by law. No one — not poll workers, not campaigns, not law enforcement — can take that away.

01

No one can intimidate you at the polls. It is a federal crime.

02

You do not need to show ID unless it is your first time voting at that location.

03

If you are in line when polls close — stay in line. You will be allowed to vote.

04

You can always request a provisional ballot if your eligibility is questioned.

05

You may bring notes, sample ballots, and your phone into the voting booth.

06

No campaigning is allowed within 10 feet of the polling place entrance.

Problems voting? Feeling intimidated? Call immediately.

Vote By Mail

Skip the lines. Skip the stress. Any registered PA voter can vote by mail — no excuse needed.

1

Apply

Request your mail ballot at vote.pa.gov or through your county elections office.

2

Mark Your Ballot

Use blue or black ink only. Place your completed ballot inside the secrecy envelope.

3

Sign and Date

Only you may sign the outer return envelope. Use the date you are mailing it.

4

Return It

Mail it back or hand-deliver to the county elections office by 8 PM on Election Day.

Your ballot must be received by 8 PM on Election Day — not just postmarked. Do not wait.
