We are the official Democratic Party organization in Westmoreland County, working to organize across the Kiski Valley, the Mon Valley, and every community in between.

Our mission is to build durable Democratic strength at the local level — in every corner of our county and in every election. While we care deeply about a wide range of issues, our central responsibility, especially in this moment as a MAGA administration works aggressively to erode the pillars of our democracy, is clear: to organize, unite, and mobilize Democrats to win elections.

That means rejecting internal party infighting, focusing on shared goals, and coming together around a common objective: getting voters to the ballot box and electing Democrats at every level of government — in every cycle, in every race, and on every line of the ballot, from President to school board.

To do this work, we are building out our committee, expanding our volunteer base, collaborating where possible with organizations that share our objectives, using our resources strategically, and allowing data to inform and strengthen our organizing.

Real change happens when we elect leaders who reflect our values, defend the policies we care about, and govern with integrity. Our mission is to build the infrastructure, relationships, and local power necessary to make that happen — consistently and countywide.
